Measure J Bond

New Science, Engineering, and Mathematics Building

High priority project to increase the efficiency of the square footage and accommodation of services for Science, Engineering, and Mathematics programs with five new labs and seven new additional classrooms.

Demolition of the existing asphalt has been completed. Test piles for the foundation have been driven. The Campus Project Team and Construction Management Team are working together on noise mitigation measures during finals week and Graduation ceremonies for Spring 2019. In addition, the campus is developing a letter to send to the local residents about the project scope, benefits, schedule, and potential noise impacts.
