Q1 2026 Project Update
January
On January 6, 2026, the project broke ground with the selected general contractor, PaveWest, following their approval by the Board of Trustees in mid-December.
A Notice to Proceed with with construction was issued on the aforementioned date, after which, PaveWest began mobilization activities and site demolition that continued until third week of January.
Crews then proceeded to start grading activities to ensure a leveled surface prior to proceeding with asphalt paving. Construction Field Instructions have been issued to facilitate the addition of a fire lane, light poles, and perform required electrical repairs for improved safety in the area,
