Swing Space Projects

Scope:
Currently there are three different ventures part of the Swing Space Projects. Roof repairs will be performed at the existing SEM building, which will be use as a swing space upon to the completion of the New SEM building. Available space within Gym II will accommodate the Veterans’ Resource Center (VRC) activities during construction of the New VRC. Parking Lot 5 South will be reconfigured aiming to increase parking capacity in compensation for loss of stalls resulting from the construction site for the New SEM building.

Status:
Parking Lot #5 Expansion -GB Construction, Inc. dba Golden Bear Construction completed construction on the parking lot realignment. Following completion of construction activities, deficiencies were found with the ADA path of travel directly in front of the new ADA parking cells. The campus project team has developed, in conjunction with GB Construction and Sundt, a remediation plan.  Remediation activities have taken place and retention has been released to GB Construction.
